11x17” MailerPrinted Collateral


Overview:
These mailers are used to promote services provided by Lil’ Kickers to current and potential customers. It aims to retain customers and call them to action using textual information and compelling imagery. The 11x17” mailer is folded twice on the the red dashed lines shown here.






The Challenge.
Redesign the original mailer to have a more modern feel using updated branding elements, current photos, and dynamic design components.


Why doesn’t this design work?

The original mailer is very stagnant, with lots of straight lines and boxes framing information, and no dynamic elements to create movement and balance. 

The Lil’ Kickers Brand promotes fun and child-focused development, which is not reflected in the design elements. There is too much text which only serves to overwhelm the viewer with overload of information and lack of negative space.




The Unfolding Experience.

The order in which the customer unfolds the mailer is highly considered during the design process, with effective call to actions existing on the first two pages, drawing the customer in from the start. As the unfolding experience continues, there is more text and specifics provided.
